I did well with lots of help from mario Angel just sat there and drank beer Bro the trim i got for the doors is kinda cool it's 2'' wide hard to explain i will take a pic tommorow but ya the stain is kinda cool i was going for more of olive color like the coffee tables but it came out this way but i like it and it will mach in the house i hope lol. I still have to go get the rest of the moldings that go around the whole stand and i also have to paint the inside of it.. and then i will move on to the canopy hahahah i was hoping to be done b4 GHO'S frag swap but o well .. im having fun putting it toghter..

Joe that tank looks bad assss wish I could fit a 36by36 tank in my house. BTW how are you planning on lighting that sucker?

The plan is to light it with a 400w pfo hqi on a lumenarc. and some vho's I just have to find a ballast

hey joe nice color on the stain. I wish you had told me you where going for that color cuase I have a quart full of the same stain actualy that is the same color mine is. I will try to post a picture in a little bit.

Well... not the progress I was hoping for, but still looking good. Bryan and I want to come down to see the tank. There was a thread in the Southern Cali forum that got me scared... you know which one it is. Had to deal w/ the quality of some tank builder. Is that the same place that you got your tank? 99 Tropical Fish I think was the LFS in that thread.

what is the name on the can for your stain? I did three coats of stain to get a darker color. Now I need to do three coats of clear satin gloss to seal the stain. I might have the thing set up before GHO swap at least that is what iam hopeing if I can get my lazzy but out of bed early enogh to work on it. HAHAHA

humm thats wierd i couldn't find that stufff i will look agian. hey let me go take a pick of the moldings that im going to use i just need to nail them in .. My next tool on my list is a nail gun for shure

yup let me tell you a nail gun makes life easier especialy when doing molding.

as long as you have a compresor to use you can use it. if not then you might have to find one. but if you want you can stop by my house with the stand and nail the moldings on.

The moldings that well go around the stand well be 3'' in the same style as the doors.. and also the canopy. like i said theses stands are lots off woek so next time i think i will buy one ahahah $400 for a nice stand sound like a good deal now But i enjoy making it so i dono lol
