Zacktoserones Sps redo build

Can you give us a deeper explanation after having used all different types of light combinations and why you decided on going back to MH and T5 combo?

Well, weren't you throwing ammonia in there last week?
Makes sense to me. I'm surprised it's nitrate already.
Wait.. You still have ammonia as well, don't you?
I guess all that bacteria is having a party.

Yeah I've got everything.... I added some established rock to the tank to get things going... And it seemed to have worked

Ok so fish are in quarantine. Chromis hawk clowns and a foxface. The forgave isn't doing good... Woke up to him breathing super fast and laying on the tank bottom. He's been like that all day so I gave him a fresh water bath and I dosed prazi to the tank

The hanging kit wasn't doing it for me, especially with how low the ceiling is it made acessability a nightmare. So I found this I online

I went to home depot and found a kit relatively the same. I also had to find some metric screws

I purchased some aluminum channel to secure the rollers to the cebu

Not only did this make it so I can slide the light fixture out of the way it gave me a lot more height and initial acessability is better

AND WALA

The only issue I have now is light spillage. No more than before. It makes sitting by the tank irritating so a canopy may seem like the best option rimless or not

if you skin that light in something to match the stand (floating canopy) it would look very nice while cutting down on the glare and still have rimless...

I was thinking that but the clearance is poor. It would have to be able to open. Second problem is the screen to keep fish in. Open top canopy might be the best option still
