I'm only making this common knowledge (for those who don't check DD sneak peek everyday) that one is on the list since I have a bandit and crosshatch coming next week and not sure my wife would be very happy if I spent another 800$ on fish this week... Whoever gets this beauty please post some pics. Simon and Peter you both immediately came to mind

Just buy it! It's a lot easier to ask for forgiveness than permission :)

Are they charging $800 for it for sure, or is that a guess?
 
Last time one showed I think it was $799 (or maybe $899?). Thanks for the heads up. Just happens one of my QT tanks has freed up :)

The last one was 799$ so thats just my guess but I think the price only goes one way on them... I know Wayne I just need to take your,Ted, and Andrews approach to this hobby and do it! Simon I hope you get the polyzona, would love to live vicariously through you on this one
 
Yeah great size but a lot to spend on that guy... I was right about the price only going up

A 4" bandit and a 4.5" male crosshatch will be here a week from tomorrow
 
Yeah, I haven't seen them available for a long while. PIA used to get them every few months, but they're gone now :(
 
Interesting that the last one at $800 was gone in minutes; this one at $1200 is still available. I guess the sweet spot is somewhere in between.

Yeah 1200$ is pretty high IMO for this guy but the size is more desirable... 1k is the max I would want to spend personally

Wow ABF a store here in NJ had one not to long ago. I didn't think a convict tang was that expensive of a fish.

It's amazing how something so similar to a 40$ fish can command a price 30 times higher.
