Zeovit SPS reefs

I am probably going to start running the zeovit system on my tank and I was wondering what your experiences are with the zeosystem. Is there any huge downside to running this stuff? How has the growth and color of your sps improved from running it?
Thank you
for your replies!:)

The only downside I see is the larger your system is, the more money it will cost you. IMO, Zeovit has too many supplements to dose and it can be expensive replacing all those bottles. Zeorocks, Bac, Food7, Zeostart2, AAHC, Coral Vitalizer, K balance.

I recommend checking out the UltraLith system, it is very similar to zeovit, but with less bottles to dose. UltraLith, Bak, Bio, UltraMin S, and eventually UltraOrganic.

I will soon! Just waiting for my order to arrive at my doorstep. ;)

Check out the Aquarium Obessed sponsor forums. You will see people who use this system and are happy with the results so far.

I was thinking of running the zeorock stuff through a canister filter. Would this work? The flow is proper in the canister filter.

IMO, it would be difficult because the zeorocks would need to be stirred up a few times a week to release any mulm or coral food. It would work fine, but you'd have to shake it up some how.

Correct,i didnt want to spend $500 on a reactor, but i wanted to do it right.

It would not be that bad. I would just shake the canister filter back and forth. If that did not work I can open it up, and stir the stuff around. I have easy access to the inside of the cansiter filter.

If that method will work for you great, but if your handy with DIY projects, then you may be able to make your own zeo reactor. Just a thought.

You might want to run that by a...uh...zeolot:p . I've read before that if the current is run through too fast, it can have very detrimental effects.
