Zeovit - System

Ok lets do that here is a link to a skimmer they make
http://www.amazonstingrays.com/index.php?p=product&id=2361&parent=346
You could buy a something very similar for half the price.
Here is a link to there reactor
http://www.reefsupplies.ca/online-store/Korallen-Zucht-2L-ZEOvit-Magnetic-Reactor-S.html
once again you can buy something similar or even better from another company for half the price
Here is a thread with flat worm stop with people who are dissapointed with the preformance of the product
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2142170&highlight=kz+flatworm+stop&page=2
I have used Zeovit and non of the claims that the manufaturer made came true using the product
some products I tried that did not work where..
extra special
polci stylo grow
coral vitaler
coral booster
All they have done is played with words and showed off some really nice peices of corals to make an illusion that their products are what gave them that success
Again they have not proven with any reasonable doubt that there products do what they say or are even neccassary to keeping corals colorful.
But let me guess you will come to the defense of the Thomas Phol and make a smart comment

Im on pain killers after my surgery lol so can comment on your enquiries lol

1. skimmer, its the only cone + beckett skimmer in market. if price is too high for you, dont buy it. do you also hate on Bubble king for making top end skimmers for high price ? what are you going to say next ? one can NOT have a reef tank with a fraction of the price ? lol

2. reactor. its the only magnetic reactor in market, show me the same thing at half the price .... or top making none sense claims.

3. the flatworm stop .... while you see tanks dying off from AEFW , look at the tanks that use this product and deal with AEFW :)their tanks looks better than what u would dream about at nights.

other products not working ..... sure, for you it will never work, from your ignorant comments here, and personal attacks towards me, its very evident to me that you have no patience, and you have absolutely no skills. so you should not expect it to work for you.... these are made for Low nutrients system, with bacterioplankton, in which case the additives would feed the bacteria, which in turn the coral eats and takes up its energy from ;)

please do not post again on this thread, unless you can post pics of your reef tank, and show you get better results than Zeovit users . if you do not, I suggest you find another thread to bug ...

I know exactly what you are about though ... you save up money for years and buy a bottel of Xtra, then dose 1 ml, and expect to see your dead SPS to come back to life and glow for you ... that will never happen .... if your KH and CA++ are off, the sps will be stressed, doesnt matter how much good food you give it, its dead ...

but thanks for continuing to post on this thread :) you have shown that none of your comments are true ....

LASTLY ... next time you want to post other ppls tank pics, get permission from them first, and also ask what they use to filter their system ! its realy sad that you stole the wrong pic of a tank that uses the same method, trying to disprove this same method lol

Edit : I should point out, that I am very glad, that through this thread, you bugger have learned the difference between AEFW, and regular flat worms :) you have shown that you also have learned difference between KZ's flatworm stop, and Flatworm Exit that salifert makes, I am glad I could educate you.

Oh now Im ignorant and personally attacking you. your a reef tank baby. And everything I say was false. Then why can't you show any studies on the effect of the products. Why can't you show anything concrete; you have no facts no data no information nothing. All you have is a bunch of well maintained tanks that look good. Is that really all you need. Is that all.

thanks.

and those are evidence enough for this method working.

so why dont you do everyone on here a favour, and leave this thread, which is about this method, and let the rest of us share knowledge and experience.

thanks for coming out again.

Yes I have been educated on how you are a neo-zeovit separatist and you will not use reason.
This is Reef central not the zeovit forums take your pro zeovit agenda and go there and dont tell me to leave its you who are out of order.
Hi Patrick and by the way shur up

What I like about Zeovit system:
1. Turn the coral color brighter ( green into yellow, orange into pink etc.).
2. Save money on GFO.
3. Easy rules and format, thus easy in maintenance.
4. Very effective to achieve ULNS.
What I dislike about Zeovit system:
1. Allows small window of alkalinity swing.
2. Fighting with red slim.
3. Too many guess works due to unknown ingredients in the additives.
4. Testing the potassium level.
Just my personal experience………..and 2c.

What the heck is a neo zeovit separatist? You mean one is not allowed to post a zeovit thread in RC? Who died and made you king here?

Bugger you have nothing else to say. Zeovit lower nutrient in a system THAT IS A FACT. You can't dispute that man. Then there are the additives like Phols extra which is basically an amino acid, something most reefers use already. So what do you have? A system that lowers nutrients and replaces it with amino acids and other coral foods, so the system that consumes what you dose. Whether you think the others additives work as advertised is up to your opinion and that's fine but the basic four to the system do what they say...I can promise you that. I could strip the nutrients from my system so fast without being careful.

I would like to change the direction of this thread from back biting and insults to questions about the Zeovit supplements. I do not plan on running a Zeovit system but I recently purchased some Zeovit products to supplement my tank. Some background on my tank. It is newly cycled (8-9 months) and I have only SPS corals. My last water test is as follows
SG-1.025
Alk-8.9
Mag-1350
Calcium-440
NO2-0
NO3-0
Phosphate-.04
I have no fish in the tank and only a small cleanup crew along with a refugium. My fish are in QT for another 4-5 weeks and I needed to supplement my tank for the corals. I've seen and read a lot of good things about Zeovit so I decided to purchase some of there products to supplement my tank. I purchased Pohl's Xtra Special, Pohl's Coral vitalizer and Amino Acid Concentrate. Since I have no fish and do not feed the tank I have a ULNS and would like to know how much of each supplement to dose and how often. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to open a new thread. Post your water volume as well.

Just a couple ZEO Grown Corals. I am a long time reefer and I love the ZEO Approach. I will always use it in one form or another. I hope you enjoy the pics. Warmest Regards, James
