I was at Fragfarmer yesterday and overheard the same thing that Zeovit sells more products direct and basically is cutting out the distributers

NO! not him, I feel bad for myself. Just want to know why did it happen? Man, I have to buy online now.
 
That's not very good news. Eric is a great guy and very knowledgeable. I wonder if Fragfarmer will continue with ZEO in their tanks?

I'm going to set up a 180r and go with ZEO for the first time. It would be nice to have a local source and support.

Will the prices increase or decrease with the online sources?
It's expensive enough as it is.

online prices are lower now than they were before.. that is why Eric is not carring the product.. they lowered prices but kept his 9wholesale) price the same.. so now his prifit margin is even smaller...
 
Hello all I would like reiterate that yes we have chosen to stop carrying Zeovit products. There is really no need to go into details as they are not important. It was an unfortunate situation for us, but the business decision has been made and we are happy with it. We wish Zeovit, Captive Oceans and the remaining dealers the best. It is time to move forward and let this situation dissolve folks. We appreciate all your business and support during the time we were selling. We hope that you will continue to look to us as your source for all the exotic corals that you have been accustomed to.

At this point we have not decided whether or not we will continue using the products. Zeovit worked great for us the past 2 years. However, prior to using Zeovit we had great success as well. Once again, we will do whatever is in the best interest of Fragfarmer.com. If you are looking for product, please support Scott at Aquarium Specialties. He's a great guy. Zeovit Dealer

Eric, when you say "we have not decided" you mean the corals, right?

No he is a different Scott that is a dealer for Captive Oceans
