Zero Waste RO filter??

that's interesting. I wish they'd explain their "no waste" system a little better. How does it produce zero waste water?

You know that there is a catch. Either the water is still bad or it produces so little water a day that it's not practical.

The little black pump is a booster pump. They are available anywhere. What a zero waste system does is utilizes the booster pump to force the waste water back into the lines. You could actually make your own with a booster pump and a saddle valve.

Howie makes a good point. How many GPD?

These units return the waste straem to your hot water heater. If you are not making large quantities of water and if your raw water TDS is not excessive this may be OK. I make 25 gallons or more at one time and my TDS is over 600 so for me I don't want to put all those solids back into my interior plumbing.

I don't get it. How many gallons of RO do you use a day?? So how much water do you waste?? In many areas of the country people water their lawn every day so their lawn is as green as the neighbors. I probably squirt a thousand gallons a day on that @#$%## grass. I personaly would rather ride my bike, then mow grass. R
