Zoa frags not making it

You should really only have to dip once when you get them home. A half gal of tank water and 2ml of betadine for 20 to 25 min. Betadine is available at any drug store. Then at least 3 weeks in QT.

DIP DIP DIP. it looks like they got some bacteria. how much flow are they in?

I refuse to buy zoa frags with under 8ish zoas.......2 just scares me

So fresh water is for some pest
Hydrogen peroxide is for healing?
Furan 2 is for bacteria infection
Iodine is for?
Revive is for tissue damage?

Kinda lost in this area... Ive never had much sick until recently

How long have you gone without messing with them? I just had some issues with my zoas and after one dip I let them be and they have all pretty much made a comeback.
Not saying I had the same issues as you...but seems like they may be stressed out at this point.

There are no currents in tank, I got most replaced and the new ones were fantastic for awhile and now the new ones are slowly fadding away...

Maybe my tank just cant support some zoas idk...

I never believed fresh RO water is useful as a dip. I think it stresses out the zoas or makes them worse in my opinion.

Here's my belief on what these dip do:

Peroxide: Getting rid of those algae (bryopsis/GHA) on plugs, some bacterial infections (I use it based on my gut feeling).

Furan2: Bacterial Infection or Zoa Pox. So far, when my zoas are sick and melting, I don't have good luck with it but I keep it just in case.

Lugols: When zoas are melting, this is what I use. Good for serious infections. So far, I saved many of my frags using Lugols. Also useful after you frag zoas (disinfectant).

ReVive: Dipping for nasty hitchhikers, like nudibranches and flatworms. The bottle also says it is useful after fragging but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe someone can give feedback for it too.

When my zoas have those weird brown slime when closed up, I use Peroxide or Lugols and a q-tip. I gently rub them till it gets loose. Toothbrush seems too abrasive to me.

As for amphipods, I think they will go after zoas if it's dead. I have tons of amphipods and I've only seen them go after zoas if it's dead.
