Zoa mounted to broken glass!

Just got my first zoa's today, and decided to be safe and hold w/ tongs.
Glad I did, cause the frag mount popped in half, turned out to be half LR and half broken glass!(a sharp piece of broken beer bottle covered in coraline)
Man am I glad I didn't get cut.

I got the frag from one of my fav LFS.
He said he saw it and it had nice/desirable color so he bought it.
Don't know where he got it from, I haven't called him yet to tell him.
It looks like maybe a piece of broken beer bottle(sloppy fisherman?) actually fused to a small rock by coraline.
I hope it was a freak occurance, and not done intentionally.

You mean I've been doing it wrong all this time?LOL
This was pretty covered in coraline, so either it was in someones tank for a long time, or it came that way.
I have been on fishing trips b4 seeing guys huck bottles saying;
1- the ocean is so big you'll never see it.
2- I'm providing shelter for small creatures
I personally don't buy either, but this is my guess.
