Zoa VS acan

I think the ACAN will eat it???? My ACAN have taken out numerous SPS and Chalices..

I really doubt zoos sting.. they just engulf the enemy with growth... they just cover them up...

Yeah I would venture a guess that the acan will defend it self. And I agree with delsol. I don't think zoas sting either.

no but they get stung alot due to other corals!!

I had my acan head engulf 2-3 heads of my palys. All I saw was a web/gooey liquid coming from the acans mouth spead all over the heads.

I had them next to each other with out a problem. It was a lord.

Acanlords won in my case but on my enchanta lost so I had to cut a small corner to prevent spready.

well in a zoo tank with a few acans, will they defend a small bit then give or eat the zoos?

It all depends on the acan and the direction of the mouths. Facing toward zoos will eat them, if they are encrusting and hasn't fully developed then they will be attacked by zoos.

well the acan sits below the particular zoos i am refering to, both zoo and acan are fully developed.

I had both acans and echinata's eat my palys! All you see is a slimy cast of webbing over the paly heads...
