Zoa ?

What is the easiest way to frag off a few zoas from a colony when they are growing on 20# pieces of live rock that I can't hardly or don't want to take out of the tank . I would like to move a few of them around to get them to start in different places in the tank but don't want to stir up the tank to bad ? Thanks for any help .

I take a chizel or a paddle drill bit and pop small pieces of the rock off.It chips off alot easier than it sounds.

35 views and only 1 responce it must be almost impossible LOL Thanks Jeff I will try and pry of a few chunks . Just didn't want to ruin the colony but wanted to spread them out .

Most of the time they grow back in a week or two.
