zoo tank updates

Yeah absolutely Dave. I will soon purchase a 37 gallon tank that we can drill since apparently they don't come predrilled. I will announce when I have purchased the tank and then we can set up a work day to plumb in the tank into the existing system.

oh yeah... the zoo tank... so how are things going?? If I can stay out of work this weekend I'd like to stop up and check things out.

The 180 display is looking terrific. Never better in fact (knock on wood). Even sps are doing well. The tank is really filling in. Let me know when you plan on heading over Adam and perhaps I can meet you there. I usually head over Friday morning but this week I will go on the weekend.

The seahorse tank is another story. After the holidays, I was hoping to get folks together to tear it down, plumb it into the main system. I also got the gop ahead from Mike to buy new lighting for it.

What do you plan on putting in for lighting?

Ya like I said the other night Jerry i would also like to stop in to check on the progress. So what day what time are you shooting for?

Dave (Pircs)- I was thinking of this fixture from Premium Aquatics. It's all we need for the seahorse tank. I'm open to suggestions however.

Paul (Fish)- Yeah, it would be great to get the "zoo crew" back in action again. Soon after the holidays we can come up with a time and plan.

Dave VG - I'm not sure when this weekend. Any day/time good for you? I'm also waiting to hear from Adam.

Hey gang... I've been lurking around on the thread for a while. I would like to help out if you wouldn't mind allowing me. Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment Saturday morning... but in the afternoon I can probably make it (wife and kids would be in toe but they can wander around.)

Also, for what it's worth, I bought a similar light summer on eBay. Here's the link... it's $30 cheaper but with good build quality. I'm pleased with mine.

Certainly you or anyone else are welcome to come along or help out in any manner you would like.

Dave, Adam, Anthony, when were you thinking would be good to meet? How is Sunday morning at say 10?

This will not be a work meeting. Just to hang out. Maybe start planning for the seahorse project.

Also, it is time to order new t-5 lamps. We use 6 80watt lamps. Any thoughts on a change in configuration?

I won't be able to do anything until early afternoon... say 1pm. I'm a photographer (and an IT guy) and have a lengthy photoshoot scheduled in the morning.

Well, I cant really commit right now as it looks like I will be working sat or sun... but you guys can go ahead and plan, and I'll try my best to get there

Sunday better for me. Saturday I plan to clean the garage.
Maybe we should delay a weekend as this is thanksgiving and many college kids are back home with their families.

I'll be at the zoo between at about 9:30ish do do a few things if anyone would like to check out the displays. If not, no worries....we'll arrange another time for a group hug.:)
