Zoos have little white dots like ick???

My zoos are covered in little white dots its doesn't seem to effect them at all it looks like ick or if where to sprinkle salt on them. You can only see the dots when they are closed. What is this? Should I dip them? If so which zip?

no it doesn't really look like that there tons of white dots

Have you tried blowing them off with a turkey baster or powerhead?

yeah they are stuck on I even tried to run them off with my finger. It does look like sand though.

That is sand. Protopalythoa and Palythoa have sand embedded in their tissue.
