Basic Info:

i have a 1 gal cube, well its 8H x 7.5L x 6W
water will be filled to about 7 inches. few pieces of LR, 3-4 hermits and a couple snails. maybe a zebra damsel, but i'm afraid it'll eat the hermits and snails. what do u think?
Flow will prolly be provided by the nano fission skimmer pump (no skimmer though). lighting is a 10watt coralife 50.50 mini compact flourescent. no heater and only house zoos possibly shrooms, but shrooms will take over tank i assume. so just zoos and xenia. water changes will be taking about 15% from my established tank 30gallon and adding to the 1gal tank.

questions:

1. is lighting enough for zoos / xenia?
2. will it be okay during winter season? how will i be able to heat it over night cause the temp will drop to about low-mid 60's prolly.
3. any flaws?

thanks.

theres no fish that can be in 1 gallon of water. So skip the fish..theres no need to worry about the damsel eating the hermits because it shouldnt even be in there. And for the record, no damsels wont touch the hermits and snails. One of mine just move around a shell a few times, but that was it...never tried to kill/eat it.

As far as the light...i've got the same one on a 2.5 and wish i'd have gotten the bigger 20w one...maybe you'd like that more..but then again yours is only 1g.

and if you're worried about mushrooms takin over the tank...i'd be more worried about the xenia and possibly the zoos, altho i've never had a problem just fragging corals when needed...many people complain about how fast xenia grows..i love it...more money from the lfs :)

But that lighting will be good for much more than just zoos
