1000 Gallon Build- Here we go- Lots of Pictures

Fallback ON
Set ON
If FeedA 120 Then OFF

this is what I have programmed for the return pump. If i have fallback on- what specifically am I telling the computer to do with that line of code?

THIS IS CORRECT.It means that if the Apex controller looses communication with the pump, the pump will default (fallback) to ON.
This entire string is correct and should work properly

ok- heading out of town for a few days- will get back to it when I return. Ill see if I can dig up the password for the controller.

Safe travels!

I also sent an email to my buddy at Neptune to confirm the question we have when cancelling auto feed what the "default time" is set to. I want to confirm if it goes by the controller time or the time in fusion we set in advanced.

As soon as he gets back to me I'll update.

You said you want the skimmer to turn on a few min after return pump is on? And skimmer on when return is on?

Skimmer:

Fallback OFF
If Return ON Then ON
Defer 5:00 Then ON

He doesn't want a specific time bc this is just for cleaning. So he will for sure want to use a feed option. That way there isn't a specific time set. Does that make sense?

correct - I dont shut everything off during feed mode. I just feed. Im using feed mode to turn of pumps and skimmer for 2 hours and then have everything turn back on. What Im trying to do is cancel the 2 hours in case the cleaning only takes me 90 minutes. I dont want to wit another 30 minutes for the return pumps to turn back on because i would be pumping replacement salt water back into the sump and therefore need my return pumps on.

hope this makes sense.

Just got this from Neptune.

If you hit cancel the pumps should start right away. If you DONT hit cancel the feed mode will end after the 5 minutes but the pumps will be off for the additional time you entered (120 or 121 or 125) *the times don't matter this is just for reference)

So when you get back home, lets try this again, as we have it now. Let's make sure the pumps start back up, but for sure lets get into the controller and setup the time, 5 minutes out of a 120 down time is ok, but I prefer to run like 30 minutes then the difference.

We can test with a lamp and setup a feedB so that way we don't take your pumps offline.

We can do like 2 lamps you have laying around, or clock, or something that doesn't draw a lot of amps.

Let me know when you are back, we can even do a call/facetime if easier.

Apex Fusion/Pull down the EMAILALM tile/set the code to send an email notification , such as:
Set OFF
If Temp > 82.0 Then ON
If Temp < 75.0 Then ON
If pH > 8.50 Then ON
If pH < 7.70 Then ON
If ORP > 460 Then ON
If Swx9_1 CLOSED Then ON
If Swx9_2 CLOSED Then ON
If skim CLOSED Then ON
If sump CLOSED Then ON

Set this tile to "auto"

Have you thought about doing some coral inserts since only doing fish? (I might get struck by the forums gods for speaking blasphemy on this one)

yeah- I thought about it. Then I slapped myself for having a ridiculous thought like that. :)

In all seriousness, no. not even an option. When I first got my tank built, the folks from Tanked tried to talk me into one. About 6 grand for a fake reef. No thanks. Have never seen one that looked good and would not want that polluting my tank.

Good thing you did :)
Once you drop 6k on the insert, you enjoy it for a day or two, and then algae starts growing on it... Too much work to keep it clean. Any new pictures?
