1000 Gallon Build- Here we go- Lots of Pictures

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I too am impressed by the sump. It's turning out to be a great build, not only for the tank but also for the house as well. I'm blessed to be able to have the opportunity to build our dream home and my dream fish tank. Tank gets delivered 7 am local time tomorrow. To say that it's going to be a sleepless night is an understatement.

Here we go!

Be patient with me. Will get a big update up for you guys by the end of the day. Im on my way to Dallas for a meeting and will swing by the house first and grab a bunch of photos for you all before heading to the airport.

After the stand was in, they measured to make sure the tank would be center properly in the space:

The pipes had to be cut to slide the tank over:

Here comes the tank:

And here it is- Tank in place:

Here is someone next to the tank so you can see the scale:

When you walk in the front door - you will see the tank as one of the first things in the house:

This is when we are standing in the kitchen, looking at the tank. The bar is on the other side:

This is a view of the tank from behind the bar:

What you see is a private courtyard outside of the bar- it has its own fireplace:

And here is a view from the courtyard into the bar - the tank is everywhere!

Its a beast. Center overflow. Plumbing will be clean!

Here is my office. Just thought Id throw that in there:

Here is the front of the house. Limestone looking great!

Meeting with the cabinet company monday to finalize the woodwork around the tank. Lots of panels and doors for access. Fish room will be epoxy coated in the coming weeks as well. Sump scheduled to be delivered in the coming weeks also.

Dang, it just keeps getting better! Is that 1" Acrylic?

No doubt! There were a bunch of naysayers about ATM, but that looks like one incredibly overbuild (like it should be) tank. I don't see how that thing could ever bust a seam. Awesome tank!

House, tank, sump, everything's looking like a dream. Thank you for letting us live vicariously through you.

Hi all - I'll try to repsond in more detail later but the tank is 1.5 inches thick on the sides and 1 inch on top and bottom. This sucker ain't going anywhere!!

Looks like a very expensive build. It'll be a great addition to the home though. Definitely a showpiece.

Budget? What budget. That got blown out the doors months ago! Not only on the tank but everything else. I stopped totaling the receipts after a while. Too depressing. :)

Visit your sump today [emoji6]

I stay by Klaus at Royal Exklusive today and at the desk is your big sump. Hurry up it will be finished fast [emoji1] [emoji106]

Was going to say...

We have 1" on a 470 gallon tank...

Tank's looking great!

The house looks so huge it makes the tank look small ;)

Cabinets should really help with that :D

Epic in every degree. Your private courtyard looks like a tranquil place in the event that you need an alternate area to unwind.
