Would love to place a sump under this tank, however the stand is open in the center with a door on each end. Dont really have room for the sump. Im looking for a clear acrylic box to do an internal fuge, Cpr makes an internal... may just have to buy theres if i cant find anything to modify

Looking awesome! Those LED's are killer. I thought about getting some at point, but decided on the halides. Cant wait to see it with the rock and livestock!

LOL Slowly but surely brother. Still waiting on my salt to arrive.
The rock is going to look like rubble in this tank until i can find some more. I think by tomorrow night it will be filled with the ro/di water. Im letting it run while i sleep

Anyone have a spare heater i could borrow to warm this water up? I only own 1 heater and its sustaining my corals and fish in the holding tank until i get this 1 up

Its ok Mel :P Mine will be here tomorrow. Ive got to get my temp up before i can really do anything anyway. Ill be seeding with my 70lbs Lr ive already got, only thing that will really need to cycle is the sand. But i know by friday there will be life in this system :)
 
Thinking of doing 2 islands made from pillars.... I was messing around with some rock i have and this is what i came up with

Guess i should have thought about a background b4 setting the system up.... O well i can still attach 1.. wont be near as bright as i wont be able to use Seaview Gel

Only thing needing to cycle is the sand, I didnt add the rock i got from you yet, didnt want to introduce that turf algae into my system. My canister media is fully cycled which contains seachem matrix, ceramic rings and bioballs. Ill think ill be ok... if not i dont have that much invested in corals yet :P

Steve, take a bottle of ammonia and fill the cap,place the cap under your nose, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Now when your done choking, look at your tank.....this is what you are doing to your fish.

Never looked at it this way rob, Ill start dosing seachem prime tomorrow :P
