This will be my 3rd reef system to build.it will be a softy reef, primarily focused on the fish. This is what I'm thinking
Stocking list:
Harlequin tusk
Purple tang
Powder blue tang
Midas blenny
Gold stripe maroon
Neon dotty back
Small school of cromis (5)

Honest opinions please
Thanks
Any suggestions on a skimmer for this bioload?

the two tangs may not get along together long term... also the tusk may see the chromis and dotty back as lunch once it gets established

I agree that one tang should be plenty in that tank. I like powder blues a lot. As for skimmer definitely check out Sea Side Aquatics ES7 model. I would post a link but I didn't know if the rules of the forum permit that...

Pick the PBT or the purple but don't do both. As far as skimmers there are plenty to choose from, I'm a fan of super reef octopus and MRC. Reef dynamics also makes quality skimmers as well as bubble magus

I would also not get a group of chromis, they will just slowly die until you have one left. I started with 25 and then I got rid of 9 about a yr later. As far as adding order goes blenny dottyback and clowns then add the tusk and tang last

IMO, i dont like that selection.
but it's more about what you like so ill just comment a bit on what you listed.
the pbt may get too aggressive in a 125g. i had one that i had to remove.
chromis -no good they will not really 'school' and eventually dwindle the number.

It is definitely a small tank for two aggressive tangs like Powder Blue and Purple Tang; is a good option to choose which is your greatest pleasure and avoid fights later, that could be a bomb of ICH in the future, however you can add a beautiful angelfish colorful too.

Cheers
