My girlfriend thought she was buying me a JBJ model,
but when we looked at it shebought this one. We haven't recievedit yet, but it seems to bea good thing so far?

No, don't have one. But they where selling around here for $75.00.
I bought 24 aquapod. I have 12 JBJ and like it. It's about 2 years old now with a par of 32 watt pc's and Eheim pump. It looked ok to me when I seen it.

sounds like you might want to upgrade the lights( add another unit) and replace that stock pump with a maxi jet 900 or 1200

I saw that thing on oceanpro when i was buying some live rock.
Your are going to have to mod it just like all the other all-in-ones but it is a decent price to build off of.

looks like the one bid loss from the actual NC12dx is the fan in the canopy....thats i bummer/....ohwee
