130 Inches of Pleasure (500 Gallon display)

Well, I don't know what area you live in. Is freezing in winter a problem? Is there a slope to the floor to drain out of doors?

We see nighttime temps below freezing usually once or twice a year down here, Dave. Other than containing a mess, a drain isn't as big of a deal down here.

Very nice dimensions. I'm with you, I prefer long tanks. This is exactly what I would do if I had the space and resources.

Look forward to seeing it come along. Good luck.

very cool build, simular to mine I am doing one leg removable to get my sump in (hopefully not out for a long time); sure wish I could do fish room like you are going to, looks great so far

Wow great tank, and I love the size!
Thanks for posting the hydraulic lift, that is a great idea.
I can't wait to see the updates.

Where did you get the hydraulic lift

The tank builders use it to deliver their tanks. Said it was only $700 new. If I owned a store or moved tanks regularly I would buy one for sure. An absolutely amazing and worth while price of equipment.

I have just spent the last hour looking up hydraulic lifts like that. (LOL)

I am sure I can get my local LFS in on getting one.

Good plan and good build so far. Looking forward to updates/pictures/videos.

That lift looks like the lift my buddy has for servicing snowmobiles and quads. I'll have to let him know that he can do aquarium moves in the 4 weeks it's not winter up here [emoji1]

They each have weight limits. Make sure you look at that when buying.

@Easttuth
Curious about your foundation...did you have to alter your foundation? Also what kind of foundation do you have? Cool build following along.
