I got these of the Regal the other day.
For the most part she stays in the inner matrix of the rock...
She doesn't love having her pic taken...
Very nice Ted as usual. Do you ever see baby Red Sea Regals? I'm looking for 1 or 2.

She is about the size as mine was...I would say she is now around 1.50 inches...
I was not planning on adding a Regal unless a tiny Red Sea individual came along...however, last spring Kevin obtained a couple of these Fijians that were so yellow that they looked like Red Sea Regals and were insanely tiny...as in your pic- she could fit on a quarter with plenty of room to spare...so, I grabbed her...

Het Ted how do you think the Regal and the Goldflake will interact as they grow? What would they do in say a 6ft tank?

hey bud, well the gf is a really tough fish... she pushed around the regal when they were both tiny and now the gf is considerably larger....the gf still keeps almost every fish in check...I don't ever recall having a gf that was this alpha...
so, not sure...is it a big tank? 6ft long and?? I would not trust my gf with the regal in a 6 ft but, again, I feel like mine is much bossier than any other I have ever had...

Lol its a 125.... probably the smallest 6ft. I pretty much know the answer. The Regal my LFS got in never ate so I kinda got my juvi (maybe hybrid) similar to yours as a viable runner up. My dream is a little regal though.

Hey bud,
If you had 2 that got along well it is not totally out of the question...you would certainly be safe for a couple years at least...you know your stuff, I honestly don't think it would be a problem... unless you get a psychotic individual..
and, lol, consider my 125 qt now:
5 candy basslets
3 genis
2 clarion
2 lemon peel
2 bicolor
2 coral beauty
1 royal gramma
sure, lol, there is about 3 miles of pvc in the tank with helps but you can see from the pics, they are all doing okay...

Yeah same one. I wonder if the GF will be super agressive since its mostly blind in one eye. The only worry I have is that I'll only have 2 125g and one has heavy lps. I would hate for my only real plan be my buddy who might move's 250.
As for aggression I'm trying to be very careful its mostly wrasse and I want a couple fancy flashers.

yeah thats what I was thinking too. Its hard to balance wrasse, tangs, and angel addictions.

"Yes we do have small Red Sea regal angels, I will tell my divers to collect tinny small ones & I will let you know asap..."
