That cortez angel is really getting in the way lol

Looks like your baby tiger is acclimating well! Did it take a lot to teach it to feed on prepared food?

Hey Eastlake,

Lol, that is the big, fat, anticlimatic bluethroat, you want her?

Hope you and all are well,

Ted

If I was closer and my tank wasn't already stuffed past capacity I might take you up on that. Plus, I have no idea how my male blue throat would take to a female, though he is a rather timid critter.

Too bad. Hit or miss with pairing them. Blue throats are at the very bottom of my fav list, in fact, they don't even make the list. It is a crying shame she didn't grow up to become an outrigger, as we were all hoping.

Doing well! Love your tank and all the great fish I have never seen before and probably will never own. Keep it up for those of us living vicariously through you!
Thanks, glad yours are doing well!

side by side is always a very pretty sight. They were born the same day and came to me at roughly the same tiny size. However, it is easy to see the size difference when they are close. Probably a 1.5 inch difference.

Very little to say about this simply spectacular fish. 9 months with me and she changes a bit every day. She really loves water changes and always a more dramatic change after them.

Nice shots Ted.

I miss my tank. Contractors just finished beefing up the floor joists in the area that will become my office.

I can’t wait to get back into it this fall. Hope you're Doing well.

hope you are all well, a few lousy quick pics, I will try and get some better ones soon.

The stripes on that tiger angel are something else! I love how the conspicuous hybrid is also developing its own stripes :)

Holy smokes I made it to the end and I’m stoked to see this thread still going! Took me almost 3 weeks to read the whole thing and now I’m totally in love with the Cortez Angel and all your triggers, current and past. I’ve always been a trigger fan. All I can say is wow, I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have all these ultra rare fish. I’m speechless! I’ll just go back to trying to finish staining the stand for my measly 90 gallon tank. It’s not even up yet and it’s too small.
