I just saw some Tusks yesterday that were 1". The stripes were beige and brown and there were no bright colors on them at all. Not sure where they originated from but they were very cute.

triggers are my first love followed closely by angels...
in a heavy angel cycle now and the trigs are going to new homes and bigger tanks....thrilled to have the big trigs going into an 1800 system but will miss them...
the only trig left will be a tiny bursa, 2-2.5 inches that I have had for 2 years...she is in the big tank but is very mellow...last time I removed fish I planned on removing her too but couldn't find her in the tank...
I hope you realize how lucky you are. At least around here, finding homes for large fish sucks. How do you know people with huge aquariums AND still with enough room to take large fish AND that want the particular fish you have?
Are you sure you don't want to set up another tank instead of giving up your beautiful fish? Just curious, how many do you have? (tanks, not fish...)
Peter,
Between friends, reefers, HOF, NYA I am very lucky...
Though with rare fish it has been very easy to find a buyer...
Both places have some very serious clientele, esp HOF...
Most of my fish are sold before they leave my tank...
I even get offers on fish I do not want to part with...
While that's great for you, I just hopethe mojority of people that read your thread realize it's not that easy, and don't plan that they will simply be able to trade in their over-grown model for a newer smaller flashier one.
It has nothing to do with trading in anything over-grown and replacing it with something smaller and flashier that goes quicker 0-60...
That comment was about other folks, not you, because the fact of the matter is it has everything to do with that, for many aquarists. Sorry if that came across like I was talking about you.
One of the things I try to do when posting here is think about the hundreds, sometimes, thousands of people that may read my post, and put myself in their shoes.
Me too. I find the total lack of empathy stunning. The fact that there were TWO different posters on that thread recommending that the OP kill the fish was doubly depressing. It's cool...
I have not really encountered that syndrome...
but the one that does kill me is when people kill or recommend that because their fish is aggressive or no longer wanted...just read another post...that makes me insane...

I know, totally insane..worse was that recent thread where the op did kill his fish...
I will be sad to see the outrigger go. Such a beautiful fish.
What! Which thread? I'm going to have to go searching. If you can't take care of or don't want a fish and you are on Reefcentral, you should be able to find someone to take it off yours hands.
Just ridiculous.
I don't have anything to add. I just didn't want to be the only person in the world not on this thread.
