ahh man soooo sorry to hear about your family friend Ted, and the fish. You did the right thing going there, as I am sure they needed you.

I would not wanna be in the tank sitters shoes ...

Really sorry again man ...

As much as we love our hobby and fish, our family's and friends come first, no matter what. You made an honorable decision. It's such a tragedy to here of the loss of a young person. Condolences.

Not to make light of losing the pep, but there is a saying that may help:
"There's many more fish in the sea."

Sorry to hear about the friend and the fish.
Sometimes things just go south and there is nothing we can do.
Hopefully your luck will improve in the near future.

Ugggggggggg. Im upset. F f f. Oknted. Right back on the horse. But next time maybe live rock setbup and not sterile pvc bare bottom. Maybe. Just thesis. Ok. Ted let be in touch. Btw my pep isngood but i dont love way narcosis is acting.

So in do not expect the narcosis to make it through the night. Given its breathing rapid and its on its side im pretty sure. This was the fish that came in sort of flakeyband shy and hid the most. Looks like velvet or something but ill look in am. They are so small and fragile thatvwhen something goes wrong it happens fast

Have you thought about any treatment? When they are this small they are so fragile. It reminds me of being in the NICU, when things go bad... it happens fast.

I am sorry to hear Humuguy, I wish you the best in these hard times!

R.W.

sorry huma,i never suspected yours will be the first to go....i hoped that being smallest it would have better chance to acclimatise....but seems like it actually went against it...being small, died quickly without food...

is it in the same tank as pep....?..if you suspect velvet, remove it immediately...
i suggest adult live brine(instead of newly hatched) and blackworm for pep if you can get your hand on them...

Hey Ted, I'm so sorry to hear of your losses this weekend. It's sad that this is all a part of life.
You are one of the best fish keepers out there and don't you forget that!
