OK due to breaking down a Dt tank i set up a frag tank.

15 gallon tank , nano koralia ,Air skimmer

Light is a 48 watt T-5 Ho Is that enuf for Lps and sps ? Right now i have softys in there.

I also have a 70 watt MH didnt know if that would be to much light.

What do you think.

It will work, but i would use the halide instead of the T5. Also, just saying its a t5 isn't telling us much. What brand? How many bulbs? Reflectors? Fans? Also, you would really have to keep up with your top off on a tank that small. Your salinity can swing alot with a tank that size.

I think that would be plenty.. Is this a permanent solution or just temporary (ie. 1-2 months?)

How far away from the surface would the fixture be?

As RotaryGeek said, watch the salinity very closely. I failed to do this once and lost about half my corals :sad1:

The light is only about 3 inches away from the surface.. Factory setting.

And it willl be for short term hopfully. Great deal on corals for our 125 upgrade.

Soo 2-4 months
