I paid 5.00 per lb the last time and then acid washed it, losing half of the weight, but I know its clean and does not contain anything harmful. right now we have about 300lb that we used in the tank

At start right now I'm going to minimize rocks inside tank. Just want to make lots of caves and hang over caves for fish to hide in hang over for future to put corals. In fish room thinking about having few of those 4 x 4 tubs in fish room and one of tub full of live rocks what else should I do in setup

Ohhh there is sooo much,,,, you can do this tank many ways, I will show you one and explain a few more that have and have not worked.

the main one was the floor.... you have that, you can do what ever you like, only the funds and your skill level will have a say on how its done

All can be changed, cheaply and easily.... So you will learn how to build things..... No equipment for that tank is off the shelf,..... If you don;t have the tools there is Tech Shop and they have metal and wood working equipment for the same price as a gym membership

I bet so... since he got banned under 408 name tag then opened a new one to 4082. lol. This thread was pretty hot for a tank that nobody can even prove existed. I kept waiting for some pictures.....and waiting.....and waiting.

My guess is the banning was due to him trying to circumventing "new people" posting restrictions (did he try to sell something or something?) which would have been temporary, but they circumventing the ban by creating a new account is what may have gotten him perm banned.

It was sad though, I was waiting with popcorn ready to watch this thing go down.

lol thats how i felt. I was looking for that Icon that says "This thread is worthless without pics!" but gave up after not being able to find it.

Well this thread did remind me of the other guy in Oakland or San Jose. The one that boast about him buying all this nice stuff but was never ever able to show pics. *shrug*

But if this was a true thread, then it would've been cool since I miss my 300 and the volcano skimmer.

The only good thing about this thread...is Crazzyreefer's info. I believe its Nick?. The information he provided would be something I would search for when I set up another big tank.

I am in conversations with him, he got banned for offering me a sump tank if I helped him with his move, He was just trying to be nice, The sump at 600gal is too big for my application, but I will help him for free. we are still coordinating the move.

I just moved my tank by myself, no help, with the same equipment. Insurance paid almost 10k for it to come down and be put back up, iso far has cost us 25k to do this..... and more bills are still coming in from this move. Now we upgraded the lights, pumps, and filtration.... but just the extra plumbing was over 8k Sorry didn't take pics, don't want the memory of where my retirement is going to.

But Psonic, Mike, if you ever want to visit you can...

I wanna see the tiger cats! ROAR!

Damn last time I was over your place... I guess technically your old place (maybe old old place :D) I was fishing snails out of icy cold water in a wheel barrow. Although now that I think there was a tank tour that stopped at your place too.

Wow that was many years and places ago... My next place will be on the sailboat, still trying to figure out how to light a tank and run pumps on it.
