Finished my trial acrylic frag rack, got 9 frags in there. Hopefully the 2 ecoxotic will be enough to grow / color them! Look a little brown due to being fragged

Been busy the last month >< Havent been able to take much pictures

My Ricordea field is growing ^^ I need to get more colors though.... it seems my light is too bright, can never get that blue coloration..

Today! (Please excuse the greenish if you see it, had my camera setting wrong....)

Blue Hoeki... slow grower, 6 months and it has only encrusted maybe 1" and throw 4-5 3/4" branch up

Question,
On page 1 you have a pic called something like "what runs the tank" and above your sump you have a rocker panel of back lit flip switches. What is that used for? you have controllers from RK so how is that used with that system and were did you get that?

Hello Ryan

The American Dj PC is used for my pumps, I only connect the automated stuff into the Reefkeeper, like my lights / temps / ph ect.

I got the American DJ from some music store (forgot name), very useful since I turn off all the pumps to do my water change.

1 pair of Scissortail Dartfish
2 - Springer Damsel (for the flatworms)
and a Mp10 for my Frag tank!!

Some of my SPS recovering from intensive dipping... initially browned / or bleach.. theres about 15 more but didn't have time to get all their pictures ><<

my new mp10 on the little frag section, I dont know why but the color showed up as brown in the picture... it's bluish / greenish on most of th tips, and some have their old colors back

Hopefully will be able to get some nice mini colonies to grow w/ good colors soon!!

I'm digging your valleys, caves, and overhangs! I hope to have something close to your design in the coming weeks . Also was wondering about your Reef Octopus calcium reactor. Any difficulties or problems with it? I was considering the dual chamber like what you have.

No problem w/ it except for a broken wire a couple days ago.. spilled 1g on my carpet!

Just get Co2 resistant tubing and you should be good... the 2nd chamber keep PH from fluctuating and the system keep my KH / mag / cal constant

The Efflo that refuses to grow ^^, it's been 7-8 months and it just been encrusting and throwing small nubs from the base. It got a little bit thicker but definately no growth lengthwise

First off, very nice setup and corals. I do have two questions.

1. What kind of tank is that (by whom).

2. I can't help but noticed a tiny creatures on your rocks and sand. Are they Flat worms? If so, do they cause any issues or problem to your corals?

the reason I ask is because I have been having an outbreak of Flat worms in my sump, but none in the display tank.

Ethan - The tank is built by Leemar, very well built

Yup they are flatworm.. I've try some wrasses / springer damsels but no luck in killing them all... those fishes do keep them under control however
