Pics to come. Just remodeled my living room

Good luck! Our tank was pretty much built around our Achilles as well...as were the many upgrades over the last 4 years ;-)

So you have 2 MP40s and a Gyre? I would suggest minimal rock work for maximum swimming area for the AT

Yes I have 2 MP40s and a gyre. I decided if I was going to use them all or partial or 1 or anything lol.

Original thought was to put the Gyre on one side and the 2 mp40 on the back wall. Maybe running reefcrest on low.

I had a MP 60 on my 220g and the juv AT I had swam effortlessly with it on 100% all the time. I wouldn't hold back on the flow, even with what you have the tang will want more.

Looks good so far, im subscribing to this thread with the quickness as I have not seen another Shreveport, la reefer, ever. That's my old stomping ground, I still have family there and come home for the holidays sometimes. I now live in Houston and currently working on a new A.G.E hybrid 10ft long 375 gallon display build myself. But man super stoked to see a local build. I actually got into the hobby because of a local aquarium store called "pets first" that has since closed but man excited for you. Keep up the good work.

Well its official I ordered my lighting just now.

72" Hamilton Cebu Sun 3x250W MH and 4 80W T5. I had them change out the ballasts from M58's to M80s. Also changed out the regular 20k MH bulbs for Radiums.

Got a damn good price. $1120 Shipped! Discounts galore, great customer service from Hamilton.

Hopefully will be here next Friday.

FINALLY got this damn light hung. This was a MAJOR pain in the ***. I'll be honest, I woulda chose a different fixture purely for the purpose of having an available suspension kit. I don't EVER want to do this again.

I honestly hope I hung it at the right depth. 10 inches off the water level. If thats not right, screw it.
