I have two kids, a stay at home wife and a dog. I can still afford the reefing habits, geeky electronics gear and all crazy guns after the mortgage and bills.
You can keep the nice cars but it may have to be bigger...besides, this one drives better than most cars, hauls @ss in the snow and carries a lot more livestock and reefing gear!

Nah, dont have an E53. I have an E30, E46, and will be getting an E39 540/6 touring soon from a friend. Pic of the two..if that counts lol....I love the E30 10x more than the E46 (Sorry to jack your thread Tbone lol)

I get to drive X5s regularly when it calls, and the 4.8Ls are super
sidenote: If interested, I have some E53 headlights, with clear corners and Adaptive Xenons for sale. They are in great condition. All you would need is the $120 Xenon ballast, and you have HIDs. They list at $1200 a pop. LMK.

Cool Jflip2002, I had an 330ci/E46 ordered with all the options from Germany. (Sorry Tbone)
When we found out of a second kid on the way I traded it for the X5. 4.4l is good enough for the wife and kids to get around safely, I really like the way it drives compared to other SUV's we had in the past. Maybe an ///M someday.

Just kiddin! I like BMW's, more so the older style ones, before Bangle redesigned em all. The only one I like out of the current bunch is the 3-series. It's got some nice lines on it.

LOL we reefers have so many things in common. I had a 2001 330I and loved it. I sold it to my sis after four years and bought a brand new 2005 x5. I sold the x5 in two weeks and put on a grand total of 150 miles. 80 of those miles was put on from driving it back from Stevens Creek BMW. Let's just say I made an impulse purchase and we didn't need two suv's in my garage. Btw, Tbone is the master of threadjacking so I don't feel bad!
