Sorry if I missed it, but what are the dimensions on the BK SM250?

Sang, what'd ya say?? :D Shouldn't you be pricing out an ELOS 160XL right now?

Hey Tony, still early, but so far, so good. If you go T5's, make sure you're OK with giving up the shimmer and a more natural look. I miss those aspects, but the energy savings make it up for me.

My new toy...B-ionic no more :)

Can you send me a PM or email (wachuko67@aim.com) on the specs of this reactor and what it ran ($)? I need to start thinking about one.. :)

This link answers all your questions. I purchased from PA. Looks like price has gone up since I bought it.

I wanted to get the GEO618, but couldn't fit it in my stand. The 612 uses the same recirc pump. it just has a smaller chamber

Dude, you can never match the right-sized skimmer to your tanks! With a tank that size, only a BK can hang :D

Sang, that is crazy. What are the dimension on the tank? Is that the 8x4x2?

LOL, I just made up that number.:)

Awe man, you weren't kidding T. You should've waited to post pics of your tank. :rolleye1: :p I'm kidding. At least you've got a tank with corals, fish and WATER in it. I can't say that much. :o

You really think the Deluxe 250 Int. is a better choice over the SM 250? Aside from the option to skim drier, how is it any better? Are they similar otherwise, pumps, specs, etc? I know I should know the answer to that question, but I can't remember. I'm too tired to thumb through the earlier pages too. :(

I say to pick the Deluxe over the SM because there's more history behind the the Deluxe line. The SM is very new, and so results can be hit or miss. Kennettson is having amazing results, but remember that other guy who couldn't get it to skim?

Design wise, the Deluxe is a taller skimmer, which is attractive, but SM is double cone, which is also attractive. Pump wise, the SM has the same pump as the BK300 Deluxe.

No problems with the desjardini bothering the new purple tang?

Nope. Desjardini is a cool cat :) Sohal gave the purple some grief on day 1, but they've been cool since day 2. :)
