A fuge can be a pretty diverse lil ecosystem of its own. without defeating the purpose once it is all frags though it becomes something else.

i am planning a RDSB and cryptic zone in my sump

could but doesn't necessarily have to. but I agree about flow, sps need high flow and high flow is counter productive to the whole pod breeding concept.

I have a 65W CFB LOA fixture over my fuge, its supposedly a 500w equivalent. Ive always wondered if its bright enough for SPS, certainly looks it!

but i made sure I had a frag tank to resist that kind of temptation hehehe.

very interesting. I think a single display tank takes up enough of my time - at least that's what my wife tells me :p, so I don't think my fuge will turn into a display anytime soon!

interesting. I always thought the fuge was "slower flow", and so can't support SPS. Don't make me put a Tunze in there! :p

You and your Tunzes... How's that sponsorship going? I wonder what Roger would give me if I got a nice big Tunze tattoo on my arm ;)

btw- I finally started a friggin build thread

Thanks for the support...

...more udpates

possible AEFW too :( will dip TMPCC to confirm. not sure how I got this one.

Edit: Will dip after the Warriors game  priorities first ;)

AEFW

AEFW

Well, Warriors couldn't pull it off against the Suns. Missed the playoffs this year. Thanks for an Awesome Season :)

Did a TMPCC dip, and confirmed that I have AEFW.

What's the best way to treat? Dip only affected coral? Or treat entire tank?

you know warriors have no game this season, maybe you should pick out another team. it was a good game few Sundays ago when hornets took warrior down to their knees :D.

i always dip then use triple dosage of intercepter for full week. i would be scare to treat the entire tank. concentrating only on effected corals and turkey blast daily on the others.

dude, Bart, are you even reading my posts before posting?? I'm talkin AEFW now, not RB! Yes, I have both!

Will never pick any team besides my beloved Warriors

i know what you have, but since you are treating them for AEFW why not be safe and treat for bugs too.

I'm going to treat for both. Wait, I'm confused now. I thought Interceptor only treats RB. How do you treat for aefw?

I am sorry to hear about this Terry. I know Marc is more knowledgeable than me in this, but levamisole is my vote.

Do a search for Hobogato's thread on AEFW. Fishdoc had a good one as well.

I was coming over to your thread to see if you warrior fans want to watch th eplayoffs with us Kings fans :(

Interceptor does nothing towards AEFW. It might knock off a couple, but all of them.

Well, when it rains, it pours!

I confirm RB, then AEFW, and watch my Warriors fall out of the playoff picture. They had an awesome season though. I just love their heart.

I need to go read up on AEFW now.
Thanks for the links, guys.

You can not treat your tank for AEFW. You can only treat the corals, in an external way such as dipping in a bucket of tank water mixed with ReVive (by Two Little Fishies). Each time you dip, it should not be longer than 5 minutes. If you see eggs, scrape off every last one.

Fortunately, they really only like certain corals, so if you have A. millepora, they don't have to be treated. However, smooth skinned & deep water acros are prone, especially tri-colors.
