looks like you're putting that stim check to good use ;)
don't forget to cover your tank :)

And put the cover back on when you're done playing!

Yeah its weird. I did a BSJ search earlier and manhatten reef forum thing came up in that thread someone had mention to cover your tank that these fish are jumper.

I never thought of them as jumpers as they usally seem to stay at the bottom

tbone,
my tank builder who was supplying my tank, stand, lighting, skimmer, calcium reactor and chiller is going out of business, RIGHT after finishing my tank.

somehow they freakin LOST my ASM G4plus skimmer, MTC procal reactor, and tradewinds chiller. lost it.

This really stinks, but I'm trying to look on the brightside and maybe just get a better skimmer to start with.

My skimmer section is 11x15" and 29" high cabinet space. Would the BK 250 SM fit well in there?

on the brightside, my tank is shipping today and should be here tomorrow.

the company is offering me a "free" ETS800 dual downdraft skimmer because they have an extra one somehow. I'm not so sure about it because it will need to be above my water level, meaning no room for it. I think I'll accept it just as a live rock curing skimmer though :)

Not sure if you figured out if it would fit but here is one I just ran across in the FS forum http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1394456

Chad

Sweetness!

Chad,
thanks for the heads up. For now I am going to try the ETS800. I was able to make it fit (since I dont have a calcium reactor now  - hopefully the PM KR620 kalk reactor can take care of my calcium needs). got an iwaki 55 pump for it and waste collector.

Downdraft skimmers are a bit different, they foam at the mouth like rabbid dogs instead of a smoother head of foam:

So, I'm curious how much *smaller* the new Streams will be. It looks like the design follows the nanostreams

**FROM ROGER***

First off we have redesigned the Stream, due by the end of summer- Stream 2, includes magnet mount, quieter, smaller and with the same efficiency.

A new Multicontroller, 7096, it will be available in the winter, it is about $100 less than the 7095 which will still be offered. The 7096 is USB programmable and each pump can be seperately controlled and the food timer can also be adjusted. You can also connect and control the wavebox.

Yeah, pretty exciting. Roger started a thread on his forum. I'm subscribed! Someone already requested that he post a pic of a current Stream to the new one. I hope they're *significantly* smaller.

He also posted a pic of the new skimmer, but I'm not interested, so I didn't post that pic on my thread :p
