2 blue gigs.

He's looking very nice right now I'll be sure to update pictures soon. Getting very shaggy. Under the 20k the brown isn't visible but I will get pictures in both 20k and the lowest color temp my led/apex allow.

Yeap came form AC. I treated it but it never deflated or never expelled anything. Perfectly clean water. I mean it pooped but not your usual infected pellets. Just stringy.

Nemmy, that guy looks great!!! Nice!!! Keep that guy under bright light and high flow, you'll have many years of enjoyment. In order to keep it that size, feed MAX once a week, MAX. Or, be like OrionN, feed every day and get it 24"!!! Just kidding, kind of... Best of luck, keep us updated! Looks great. A good looker for sure. Thanks for posting.

I LOVE my lights. I can see in my tank at all hours of the night. Here's last night, not sure what the percent of intensity was in this first photo. I posted this on the local forum, different site this morning, but ran out of time before I had to leave, so posting here tonight. --- Who needs clowns!...

Here's this morning. It was set at 90% lunar intensity this morning. This guy seems to like sleeping here every night, the last few weeks I've come down in the middle of the night, there it is.

My pretty green gig in my 75 got chopped by my mp40 this evening about 5 hours ago, but had to leave, so no water change tonight. Looks ok now, no water change after making the tank murky for a couple hours. I'm hoping to have some time tomorrow to do a long overdue water change. I've been wrestling with taking down the 75 and putting them all in the 210 lately. I think both nems and I would both benefit from condensing into one tank, but I'm afraid of the initial bumps I know would come.

You're quick to the draw! Seem to be on at the same time coincidentally.

I'm hoping it doesn't try that with an anemone.

looking for more flow.

Here's how it looks hours later.

Here's the green from the 210. It's found a great spot for it's foot, I think it's a great spot it will stay, time will tell.

Thanks. It's still got short tents in the middle though.

Seems the other green wants more light and flow. It will recover just fine too. I moved the power heads up a little bit more.

Updated pics.
They really do better with no food. Every time I feed them, they look worse the next day. Sorry, just what I'm seeing. You be the judge.

Here's the guy that was cut. The mouth has moved a bit to the center, the bald patch that is around the mouth has gained more material, but the poor guy needs a dentist sometimes. Still sticks one tooth out once in a while. It appears the mouth is moving slowly to the center of the disk now.

I agree with this statement at least from my experience. I really stressed my carpet by feeding it a piece of shrimp and I killed another by doing so, was a bad experience.

great pics and beautiful animals

Jason
Thanks!

I agree, to a point. From what I've seen, feeding them the first month of new shipping, IMO, asking for trouble. Few get away with it, and suggest it to others only to watch them die. Not feeding the first month, the gig will NOT die-from food, or lack of... Feeding the first month, IMO, a gamble. Maybe it lives, maybe it thrives, maybe it dies. Not feeding takes the digestion issues out of the equation of trying to acclimate them to captivity. Sometimes a new arrival looks awesome, and can handle food. It's not a one size fits all, but as a general rule I think not feeding should be promoted. But, there comes a time where they need food. I can keep mine on the smaller side, by not feeding crazy, like Minh, who grows them an inch a week by feeding much.:lolspin:

I've been busy lately, they get fed maybe once every couple weeks. I started seeing size reduction.

Pete got this little "brown" from live aquaria a few years ago. This is under 5K spots.

Here it is with no 5K spots. It's not as red in real life as the pic appears.
