Just scored a nice deal on a roughly 1-1.5" potters angel and a 3" tomini tang I've been looking for. Picks coming soon!

Ya I'm stocked they look good. They got put in qt before work I'll snap some pics when I'm off. The potters had a tiny fin nip so I swindled 20% off :)

I picked up a juvenile potters about 3 weeks ago. Has been in QT and is doing great. Eating like a pig. I started him on Live Brine, now he is eating Rods Reef Food, Mysis, but not pellet or flakes yet.

I'm going to start with hykari mysis and cylop-eeze and move to brine shrimp if it doesn't show interest in those 2.

Couldn't get a good one of the tang but here is the little potter. He just chowed on some mysid and a tiny chunk of scallop.

Potters is a really nice angel, congrats. I have had one in my QT/Intro tank for about the last 8 weeks doing really well. I am nervous about putting it into the DT with a bigger flame until it has had a chance to grow a bit. There are four Bartletts in the QT also, and their presence has actually prompted the Potters to be a more aggressive feeder.

Ya i was surprised he ate before the tang? It has been in my qt for less than 8 hours and he just chowed like a little piggy :)

The tomini is a bristletooth and probably won't show much interest in meaty foods right away, try offering him seaweed if he's not eating yet. The potter's will appreciate it too! :)

That's an adorable little fish, keep us posted on how he does :D

See I read that because he was a bristle tooth he might not like seaweed.. Something about algae clips and seaweed ? Will do I throw some in for them to munch on.

Threw some nori in strapped to a piece of rubble. Not much interest. I'll leave it in while I'm at work then remove anything left over and try again tomorrow. This tomini is one shy guy. He has a 6th sense for human presence and won't leave his PVC if I'm within 10' of qt ..

Well the little potters its amazing, active and eating pretty good for his size. He picks and scavenges all day. He's chowing down some Cyclop-eeze right now. Both him and the tang pretty much ignore the nori. Haven't really seen the tang eat anything. I saw him chew a small piece of nori that floated past his face? What else can I try to entice the tomini.

IME bristletooth tangs need some patience as far as feeding goes, nori is something they need to be trained onto. Sometimes rubberbanding it to a rock helps, sometimes tearing small pieces off so it floats in the water column is enough to get them to notice it.

That potters is so adorable! They both look pretty healthy, though the tomini does look shy/stressed. Give him time to come around.

Tomini is deff shy/stressed. He is getting better but still freaks if I'm around the tank. The potters however is a bold little guy. Doesn't mind posing for the camera :). That heater is about 3/4" in diameter to give a size reference
