I have a 180gallon with two anemones (an RBTA and a carpet). I have a pair of perculas that don't want anything to do with the anemones.
I would like to add a pair of maroons, with the hope they would make the RBTA their home.
Would it be possible to keep both pairs in the same tank or should I give the percs back to my LFS before getting the maroons?
Thanks for your help!

The maroons will almost certainly kill the percs. Use the search function there is tons of info on the subject.

i have a green carpet with a pair of clowns (B&W and onyx) then a pair of onyx in a purple long ten. all in my 120

Probably not a good idea. Even with two sets of percs there could be issues but Maroons.....they are mean as heck so like said by Skull the maroons would more then likely end up killing the percs.

I think I will give the pair of percs back to my LFS to make room for the maroons. Thanks for your help guys.

Make sure you are planning for an aggressive tank with that pair of maroons!!!! If they start spawning they get mean! Especially with a host nem.

I've had a pair of maroons in the same 240 gallon tank with a pair of Ocellaris Clownfish for a couple years now. They have minor spats every so often but no serious ones that I've noticed. Guess it just depends on each fishes personality.

In my experience the Ocellaris Clownfish's are meaner. My maroon female headbutts me repeatidly when I go near her anemone but thats about it, my Ocellaris Clownfish female has drawn blood a few times

The Maroons will probaly tear up that anemone, they are very hard on them. Just what I have heard.

A lot of that depends on how big the nem is (at least 2" bigger in diameter then the fish is long). My first GSM was very gentle on her nem. I am hoping my current pair will be just as gentle when they get their nem.

I wouldn't chance it,I tried to put two pair of clowns( true percs and occ in my 240 with rbtas at both ends and they were fighting within a couple of hours.Maroons are really mean.
