$20 SPS LED bulb for nano tanks, at Home Depot!

This thread is way old, but i'm bringing it back, because this is exactly what i was looking for!! my bottom fuge lights died, and i wanted something cheap that would keep my pulsing xenia going!!! i'll be going to home depot tomorrow to see if i can find anything like this! i expect that with the age of this thread, the light would have been repackaged or sell under a different name, hope i can find something! =)

I'm still using these bulbs. I actually got a bigger one that supports my entire fuge. These things are freakin' strong.

I used mine along with a cheap FOWLR Led fixture and they go so well together. So glad I found this thread. You rock kind sir/maam!!!

If you want your chaeto to go off like it's on roid then add a second one. That's what I did and you could tell it has grown overnight. It's never too much light for Chaeto IMHO>

I use this bulb in my fuge and couldn't be happier with it!

I use a larger version on my fuge now (has about 7 or so LED's in the center pod) and I grow insane amounts of chaeto. Same spectrum, ~5500k "daylight" bulb.

And for anyone who doubts this will work on their setup, keep in mind, sunlight is 5600k color temperature.

Is that a flower pot? Always thought they'd surely 100% wilt away ? Simple and nice set up you got there.

Yes it is, red goniopora. I've had it for a few years. The "wilt away" thing, if I recall correctly, was due to the bad importation procedures, and nearly 100% of the imported flowerpots were doomed from the get-go.
