EM, I think you kind of like the debate but you hate it as well. I added to it because of your attitude, but thinking about it I can be that way too, and everyone else in their own way.
Anyways, I think your tank is better than it was at first and you are not as crazy about just dropping stuff in there and seeing what happens as you once were. I wish I had a tank as big as yours, but I would not put damsels in there, atleast not certain ones. I apologize about my shots at you and will be more constructive. If im not a smart mouth in person, I shouldnt be on a post. So again, I apologize for being a dork. Ps, why yellow tangs? Everyone has them, If I had some extra cash, I would get something a little more unseen in most tanks.

if i had an attitude problem....then i too am sorry!!! I dont really like to argue....debate is one thing but i got a little defensive and that doesnt help anything.
so thanks.
I have always had yellow tangs....and was going to have a nice achilles as my show fish.... but now i think it will have to be my pb tang.
i picked the yellow tailed damsels because of they are nice colored and less aggresive than the blue devels.

Elegance, one of my favorite books you might like also is Ultimate Marine Aquariums by Michael S. Paletta. There is a fish only system with all angels, I can't recall how many angels are in that tank, but it is amazing. I'm pretty sure Saxby's tank is in there as well. It's a book of people's systems from all over the world with pictures and specs and such. Some of the tanks in that book people in these forums would be all over, but they made it into a book and the systems work for them.

EM I would like to congratulate you on your amazing tank, I can surely say that it is a totally different looking tank as to the one at the begining, I hope that you to can now agree that that look of green algae was not as great as you thought so.
Well congratulations on your tank.

Thank you

Looking good! I especially like the fuge shots. I notice that the pictures that are looking through the lenght of the tank the pics look slightly greener than the front shots. Is that the camera or does it have a tint when you look through it with the naked eye? I was just wondering if maybe it was gelbstoff compounds from the algae. Your carbon reactor should remove any gelbstoff though so it may just be the camera. I'm not much of a photographer so if thats the cause of the slight greenish tint I wouldn't be any help LOL :D

thanks guys....
jenglish... it does seem to have some tint to it looking from the ends...but the camera adds to it. I may need to change out my carbon bags in the canaster filter.
