210 build PIC INTENSE

thanks i just took the last few with my phone....my kids break all my digital cameras so i just have my phone camera right now

i dont think it would kill the acro. id be more worried if it was just a tiny frag of acro, but yours looks like a pretty healthy larger colony so it should be able to fend for itself.

Nice tank btw!!!

someone was saying something about fish acting tense or something? idk what hes talking about, but my immediate conclusion was all those yellow tail damsels you have. they can cause alot of stress to other fish and eachother.

The tense quote ws taken from like page 5, months ago for a video posted. The video then did show agitated fish but I have no idea how they behave now, as the tank is much different entity than it was then.

do you see the green star polyps with the red milli acro.....do you think they will start to kill that acro

This is a very old picture, but shows why I will never have GSP in my tanks again.

thank you, i got the magnetic plugs from petsrinn here in fargo nd

i just checked my ph and alk and they are back down to 6alk and 7.8ph....i know my large clam is probably the alk consumer but would it affect ph also?

Anyone on here from FARGO ND, I am organizing a reef club and coral frag swap let me know if you are interested. There is already thirty some people who have confirmed their interests.

Yes, it could be. Low Alk can cause low pH. But it could also be high CO2 levels, or a few other things. If its high CO2 you can increase surface aggitation to help. Dripping kalk will help if its either of them.

The tank is looking much better! There have been quite a few changes since March. Can you give a rundown on your current fish. From the recent pictures it looks like you have quite a few less Chromis and Damsels. I would also like to see a current video to see how they are getting along. I love tangs and would like to see how the Purple, Powder Blue, Yellow, Hippo are all getting along.

what do you use to check your co2 levels.... does Kalk increase calcium also?

My fish load is:
eight yellow tailed damsels
four green chromis
four anthias
purple tang
yellow tang
powder blue tang
blue hipo tang
two true perc clowns
gold stripe maroonclown
twin spot goby
mystery wrasse
scooter blenny
cleaner wrasse
royal gramma
lawnmower blenny

i have removed several fish and will continue to do so when they decide to let me catch them.... right now i am trying to catch the GSM clown, and twin spot because they are covering corals with sand.

For the most part all my fish get along....every once and a while one of the tangs will have a gash in them from fighting. But on a daily basis they seem to all live together peacefully. I will try and post a video...but i have been trying to net those two fish lately so they are all on high alert right now!!! lol.

I want to remove my colt coral but I am wondering if it will trigger a spike in my levels. Anyone have any experience with this?

I would not see any reason why it should, unless you were shredding and putting it back in ;) Are you cutting it off the rock or remove the rock?
