It would just cost you more money....and that ticks a lot of people who cant do that off.... get over it....do you key peoples nice cars too because you drive a beater!!!!

Wow dude, I think you really have a problem with people giving you advice. No one in this thread has attacked you yet that's how you are acting.

Jealous? haha no. I can admit I've been jealous of some of the tanks of the month but I NEVER hate on them. They make me strive harder and dive deeper into this wonderful hobby. I've seen nothing that you've posted that shows rushing into this is beneficial. And the fact that you can destroy a fully populated aquarium and "go buy a brand new tank" tells me you could care less of the living creatures you put into your tank which is very unfortunate.

I believe no one is in here telling you why being patient is a good this is because we all thought it was common sense. There is more than enough reading you can do on the subject.

How do you know how much experience anyone has comprative to you? Why would you lump everyone who has posted to help you in one box. And then kick the box too!
Real advice? What part wasn't real advice? I saw many folks giving what is taken as real advice to you.
I had a tank, and I had sw animals in them, for many years. I would call my tank and it's inhabitants successfull. And I enjoyed every freakin' minute of work involved with it. I have experiencel inasmuch as I can offer suggestions to the issues that were asking for help on.

If you have a lot of experience you would know that its not hard to go buy a brand new tank.....and within a day have a beatiful established tank. It would just cost you more money....and that ticks a lot of people who cant do that, off.

I hope it's just the brain cells I've chosen to kill along the years and that I am misunderstanding you.


Well, good luck, I hope you can come to a happy medium at some point with your tank and it's inhabitants.
 
Man how things can get so twisted in peoples head......i wasnt saying that i would go buy a new tank if i had all my stuff die....

I was just stating the fact that if you had enought money it would be easy to just go buy everything you would need to have an established...look in your tank. Meaning, established rock, corals and fish....and put it in your new tank. Looks like another person who just wants to find something to argue about. Because in no way did i rush into things...

I just read through this thread.. All I have to say is WOW, and LMAO.. Why post and ask for thoughts and ideas, then call people jealous of your tank.. that not the best way to get help.. "Because in no way did i rush into things..." dude you filled the tank all up with fish and got an Ich break out do to stress and not QT the fish.. A bit of a rush I think.. If yo want to help you need to be open to feed back, plenty of people that have tried to help you have current successful tanks without issues.

I would leave it, it will consume detritus I have them all thru my fuge.
 
I cant say that your clams are looking very healthy, the only times ive ever seen crabs or snails all over a clam like that is when it is dying or dead. Im not sure, but I think some of those clams would be best on a hard surface so they can attatch their foot to a rock so it isnt exposed. I wouldnt be suprised if something is chewing on the clams. I too think you rushing quite a bit, you should have let the algae bloom settle before adding corals or fish. Although your parameters may be in check, you have not taken your bioload into considerating. When all that algae dies off, its nitrates going straight through the system.

your an idiot. Your tank will die. ill be happy to see it. listen to advice you need it badly.There are plenty of rich and plenty of middle class reefers. The people on here have patience and know how to run a tank.Have you ever heard of a tank establishing it's nitrogen cycle going through algae blooms and being ready in the period of a week or two. I guarntee not a healthy tank. 380 is incredibly low to have clamsss. Bottom line is your maxima's weren't out in the pictures in a reason. yea your loaded but you will go through thousands trying to have a nice tank that with a little respect for peoples advice on the site and the live animals you are trying to keep could have for a lesser price and better outcome. have a nice day. there is no need to critisize other people's tanks or vehicles on this site it was a dumb insult. once again have a good day
