Then hopefully he's going to use braided nylon tubing. I wouldn't trust standard tubing with a closed loop. A single kink in the tubing could make a big mess. Just trying to help. After all, I do think he has the nicest Blotched Anthias specimen on planet earth. Just saying...not like its my avatar or anything...;)

Nope, not braided. This stuff is even stiffer than that. I had to fill up a bathtub with boiling water, let a piece of tubing sit here, ram a piece of rigid PVC tubing to straighten it.... and then I stuck it in the standing freezer. This lead to some eyebrow raising from the kids when they went to get ice cream. That's nice for you to mention, though :-)

I'm a girl, BTW. :-)...... that's NOT me in the picture. I don't expect that kind of facial hair until way into my 60s.

In 3 weeks this tank and I have a date. It's my return to work date from rupturing a disc from lugging heavy tanks around. The hobby wasn't happy with a pint pf blood, it wanted me to get up close and personal with a surgeon's scalpel.

For real, mind your backs. Every single one of us can remember a time when we lifted something that was a little (or a lot) too heavy. It cost me a disc.
 
And I'm STILL not back to work.

We are trying to aquascape, but it's proving to be very difficult, as it is viewable from 3 sides. Everything else wasn't finished until this past weekend. It was much harder than anticipated.
 
No one has come up within something better than wood filler yet? I hate this stuff!
