I actually have 3 mp40w on it. It is fine. I am going to add 1 more to get rid of some dead spots.
the temp stays at 78 to 80 with 1 fan. It is about 12 inches off the water. I only have one on at this moment. It will have 3 x 400w mh by end of month (2 from the old system).

Hey nice tank, where did u get the T-5 kit 60" for 2 bulb's from??? and can i ask how much?

I love the natural maple stand and very excited to see your butterflies! They're my favorite fish. I had 3 for 1 1/2 years but recently killed two by accident : ( I'll be ordering more by the end of the week.
I highly suggest treating them with Prazipro before putting them into your display.

Just some quick pics. Move more than 1/2 of corals over from the old tank. The old tank is suffering from alk swing, ever since I stop changing water back in May (family issues) and the mistake with the calcium reactor. I tried to do 1/3 of water change every week after losing some of the coral. However, its not getting much better.
So I am taking a chance with the new set up. I am going to fix up all the wires and set up the doser by next weekend. (dumping the CA reactor)
MB7 help a lot on clearing up the water. It only took 2 days.

How do you like the Lumen Max Elite reflectors? It doesn't look like they spread the light out enough for you.

The last pic was from the 2 T5. The MH is not on. As for the reflector, I have mixed feeling. I think the mounting design is the "dumbest" thing ever.
