240 gallon CRACKED

I would put that sand in one of those barrels (we have an extra if you need) or spare tank (we have some of those too, lol) and keep saltwater moving over it. Then it won't need to cycle again.

I'm not sure if I want a used tank again...not that this couldn't happen to a new tank...but atleast I would have a warranty of some sort.

The dimensions I would want now are:72 x 24 x 30

After this, I would probably have the same view of used tanks. But just remember that warranties only cover the cost of a new tank. They will not cover livestock lost or damage to your home.

& most warranties are only cover if u buy the stand !
i would buy a new tank non reefready & do the overflow box again & be done with it.
sure it's nice to have eurobrace but like u said Brian u spent a lot of $$$$$.

Good point mott68. That goes for most any product really, but most folks don't think of it. Basically, once you mess with something, it's your problem if something goes wrong.

I would just get one made the size and the way you want it.
Just wait and save your money

A tank with an external overflow is going to be tough to get in your basement.

I will start asking around

Hey! I haven't been to Nebraska since I was kid. I'd make the trip to help lug that baby. The price is worth it if you ask me. If you can get schedules to line up, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Seriously!

Boy am I glad my wife doen't read my posts! Seriously!

I'd be up for the road trip, too. I'm in the middle of a two week shutdown at work, so I have plenty of free time.

Uh oh, my wife DOES read my posts . . . . .
