Thank you! I will do my best to stay up on my posts.:)

I just got done reading your entire thread and WOW ! Ive got a buddy of mine trying to sell me a 300 to do something like yours but in my basement. Your build makes me want to take the plunge! Thanks for all the updates and ideas. Ill be keeping up with this thread for sure. Of course last but not least for sure congrats on the marriage!!!

Do it if it's within your ability, it is worth every penny, drop of sweat and ounce of energy. Visitors to our house are always speachless especially when you tell them you did it yourself. Not to mention the satisfaction of being able to go home after a stressful day of work and enjoy a piece of nature.

Congratulations on the wedding!

Congratulations!

Thank you much, I hope you tag along as well.

I will be taking some pics this week coming and will be back on a regular schedule of updates. The tank has been cruising along with huge growth on the little frags that were in the nano that we broke down. I've just been getting into a weekly water change routine as I've been battling a green film daily on the glass, not really sure where the excess nutrients are from since I do not feed the tank, can't detect any Phosphates (not to say there isn't any)...maybe a dead snail somewhere.

Promised Update

Promised Update

I will share that since being laid off the end of January, and spending all my time working for myself, there has been little time to do much else with the tank, however there are plans on the drawing board for a few things that hopefully I can get going with soon....better late than never!

Params are actually quite good and have held up without much dosing. No real load yet so my weekly ten percent water changes does the job.

Bummer about being laid off - maybe will that turn out to be a good thing for you?

The tank looks remarkably clean with no diatoms, slime algae or the other bains of our existence! I always liked your aquascaping plan...

The coral is looking happy, which is also a good sign...
