Hello,

I´m sorry for the late reply but work has been distracting me from the forums...

Thank you all for the nice comments guys! Really appreciate it! They truly reflect the joy and patience I had in making this layout for one whole week.

Mike, I´m trusting 2 MP 40´s plus the return pump will be enough but I´ve never had something this big before to have absolute sure circulation is enough so I´ll be watching coral reaction regarding polyp movement. I did try to create enough open area with the rock placement to promote flow so, lets see how do corals react. Thanks for the tip.

sasharotty, I´m note familiarized with " Pukani Rock" but I think this type of rock is similar with what in the US I believe you call " Marco Rock". The tank has been made by a well known company in Portugal that has been offering this type of service for many years. It is called " Vidromoldura".

Kovy, ReefQuest is the name of a lfs in Portugal and this tank is part of one of the display tanks.

Ricardo my friend, you will be most welcome! Let me know when you´re planning to come.

Andrew, I´m afraid taking pictures of the side views is impossible since the tank goes from wall to wall. I only have space for the Vortech dry side but rest assured I will try to take some top shots this week to give more perception of the islands orientation. Despite I already posted in your topic in 2010, I have to reinforce that your tank is still in my top list! Well done to you too my fellow reefer!

Biom, it´s a pleasure to see you once again! Thanks for the encouragement my friend!

David, I´m already following yours so don't be a stranger and post some pics of that beautiful reef of yours!

Crazy_Beaver, I will try to take some pics this week of the engine room. Things are not yet tidy and neat down there as I would like them to be but it´s a work in progress.

Finally, I would also like to leave a public thank you message to Ecotech for their excellent customer service regarding the tweaking of the Radions. Me and my friend João were having trouble in getting the four modules to communicate and get the same settings we wanted so we called Ecotech for help. The company promptly identified the problem and gave a solution, giving also the option that new Radions would to be sent in case the modules were not to respond to the solution presented. Everything turned out for the best! We were able to set up the Radions according to Ecotech valuable help so we thank you and hope you continue to do well and keep your reputation level as high as it deserves to be.

Regards,
André
