I just have to keep him well fed so he wont feel the need to go after the clams

Shall we look forward to the upgrade then? :D

Nice. I'm assuming this species has a swim glide pattern? Do you know how far this is?

How have you masked the electrical signals and vibration from your equipment to the tank?

Are you sure the lighting isn't too bright - i thought all sharks prefered dim light?

Apologies if you have addressed these issues, and good luck
:)

Sorry if this question has been answered, but what are you doing as far as quarinteen (did I spell that right?) for all those tangs? I have had some trouble adding tangs in the past...

Naso's usually have big eyes, they just grow in to them.

My friend this tank was planned for at least a year before construction, I have made sure I got everything working the way it is needed for the Coral cat sharks to live comfortably.

nice tank but i think you are going to run into issues with all that liverock being in there I was under the impression that sharks needed more of an open feel with livesand being dominate ( but i dont keep sharks so i could just be an idiot)

i like the tangs i just hope your shark doesn't eat any of them.........

i think you will need to upgrade within 2 years.........but gl and nice thread

The shark is near full grown in that video, and this specific type of shark like to have some rock to hide in. They are very agile and the rock is mostly off the bottom so the shark can swim between the rocks if he desires. If you also look closely the whole top half of the tank is open water swimming space.

As far as the tangs getting eaten, I think it is not going to happen since the shark cant fit them in his mouth. Smaller fish in the other hand dont have such great luck... Lets just say I started with 14 Chromies and if you come over today there are none left...

What will happen in two years that I will have to upgrade?

Awesome setup man. Congrats on the kid : )

A lot of people will probably have questions, and suggest a bigger tank, but IMO, that shark is going to be happy and spoiled

congrats
