240G Upgrade

Looking good man. Love the white stands and blue tanks

Thank you.

I finally got a replacement Radion for 1 of my units that crapped out. My lighting is now completed again. I was going to take a new picture, but I also got a new Jebao RW 20 that replaced 2 smaller power heads and my sand is blowing all over the place. My flow is now the return, 1 Jebao RW 20 and 2 Jebao RW 15's. The amount of flow now is crazy, even with the pumps turned down a lot. My anthias and tangs love swimming in the flow!

Dino's are still all gone?

They slowly started coming back. I picked up a new RO system that is being installed on Friday. I'm hoping that is the problem. With the new flow added today, all evidence of them has literally blown away. :uzi: I'm sure they will come back, I'm just not sure where now.

My newest addition, a second zebra eel.

Really looks awesome! Do you have any worry the eel will take a liking to other tank inhabitants? Also, how often do you feed? That's a whole buncha anthias.

Zebra eels are not known to ever eat fish, so its not a concern of mine. I'm pretty sure an eel did kill a long spine urchin though.

I've got 16 anthias in total now. There are 5 kinds. I also have 5 chromis, so there is a lot of active fish always moving around.

I feed frozen food 5 times/week and the eel eats each time. I have 2 automatic feeders that feed a total of 5 times/day. 1 feeder has pellets in it, the other flaked food.

Do the eels tolerate cleaner/blood shrimp or are those more of a snack food? Same Q for other cleanup crew.

Setup looks awesome!!

I haven't seen any evidence of my clean up crew dissappearing except a large spiny urchin had a chunk taken out of it then died. I'm not sure if an eel did it or not. I have peppermint shrimp in the tank with no issues.

That's excellent. I have my eye on an eel at a local shop. Upgrading from a 90 to a 250 in a few weeks and I'll have lotsa room for it.
