i do have a question.

has your tank cleared up yet? just curious why its so cloudy.

yea my tank is super clear now most of those pics are like a month old ill have good ones up tonight im thinking of doing a youtube vid becuase the pics dont show this tanks true beauty

I'm not trying to start crap here, but this is way too quick to cycle a tank. It doesn't matter what water you add to the tank, as it's not the water that cycles, it's the rock. You're adding DIY live rock directly to your DT, but DIY rock can take months to cure, not a week. On top of that it appears you added about a dozen fish in the span of 1 week. I have a bad feeling that this isn't going to last long before something bad happens if you don't slow down with this setup.

ill admit buddy i got really fish happy this past month lol and no i didnt add all those fish in a one week time i did add three in one week when i got the yellow and the hippo both are really small in size and i added that goby all that weekend. water parameters are perfect though. tank cycled in a week i used nutrafin cycle and i already had 100 gallons established water. im not as scared as everyone about the diy rock cuz i have never had a fish or coral loss from it i soak it dry it soak it sry it and then test it everything always looked good. if u have any other questions about the tank i will gladly answer them but yea ur right adding the naso and the trigger i was asking for trouble but its been a week and they r going strong i will keep my eye on it but with weekly water changes and my really good rodi unit i feel im ok

I guess ALMOST a month this tank has been up. Empty on 6/6, water on 6/7, new skimmer and new lights 6/13, fish in tank pics from 6/28.

I have to agree with mthomp, though. Today is 6/29, and those pics from yesterday look cloudy.

another question. why a sand sifting starfish so soon? also you said you have a trigger fish and lunar wrasse, i thought you were making a reef tank here.

do you plan on getting a harliquin shrimp? those have got to be the most awesome shrimp ever.

LOL!!! I hope you didn't use it first :). Most socks are cotton or cotton blend. Cotton doesn't do well in water.
