Levito, I don't know if you followed the other threads, but don't waste your time here with reasonable advice.
i do have a question.
has your tank cleared up yet? just curious why its so cloudy.
Umm... odd question. Did you go to Taylor Road MS? Chattahoochee HS? You look veeerry familiar.
yea my tank is super clear now most of those pics are like a month old ill have good ones up tonight im thinking of doing a youtube vid becuase the pics dont show this tanks true beauty
I'm not trying to start crap here, but this is way too quick to cycle a tank. It doesn't matter what water you add to the tank, as it's not the water that cycles, it's the rock. You're adding DIY live rock directly to your DT, but DIY rock can take months to cure, not a week. On top of that it appears you added about a dozen fish in the span of 1 week. I have a bad feeling that this isn't going to last long before something bad happens if you don't slow down with this setup.
your tank has not been setup a month.
I guess ALMOST a month this tank has been up. Empty on 6/6, water on 6/7, new skimmer and new lights 6/13, fish in tank pics from 6/28.
I have to agree with mthomp, though. Today is 6/29, and those pics from yesterday look cloudy.
lol ok buddy if you say so
another question. why a sand sifting starfish so soon? also you said you have a trigger fish and lunar wrasse, i thought you were making a reef tank here.
do you plan on getting a harliquin shrimp? those have got to be the most awesome shrimp ever.
its not what i say. it is based on all your previous threads, and your time line. your tank has not been setup a month.
Derric , are you using a filter sock? Do you plan to run Carbon?
was told to stay away from carbon i am using sock though but its a a regular white sock from tthe dollar store i use it and filled it with phosphate removers do you think thats cool? i didnt reqlly ask anyone about this before i did it
LOL!!! I hope you didn't use it first. Most socks are cotton or cotton blend. Cotton doesn't do well in water.
