Yup, it's alive, and based on the last post, no worse for wear.

Derrick, you may want to put something over that PVC overflow so it doesn't happen again. Something like a plastic strainer, or even a sponge.

Palting - you should know you can't use a sponge - they soak up all the water and you have to keep topping off!

but a definite +1 to some sort of strainer to prevent another problem!

Sorry guys I have a busy weekend wont be alot of post for me. Yes my blue hippo is alive and my Naso with streamers is rollin. Everyday im figuring out i made the worst decision on getting the wrasse. My buddy will be here in the morning to help me fish him out =). Checked water levels everything still looks good. im officialy on the fresh water top off team now and just got my new lights tank looks so bright!!!!! new pics coming soon

You have a Lunar Wrasse?

This is the worst fish i ever put in my tank. I hope you get it out soon. I had to use a fish trap and it took me weeks for the right chance to arrive.

Lunar Wrasse is pure evil imo. :) Good luck it.

Me thinks he must have died with the heat wave, like half of the rest of the U.S.:smokin:

It's warm, my ac has not shut off in 4 days. It's sad, the better ac is in my fish room. They are more comfortable than I am.

anyone else fearing something may of went sour? no updates for a minute here derric. post some new pics already.

yeah im going to guess that things did go sour here derric, i sure hope not but either way an update would be great. but if so I at least would like to help to get things back on track.

Bets on what happened.

The leak in the tank finally went.
The temp in Atlanta cooked the tank.
The uncured home made live rock rose the ph too high
Stocking the tank too fast created toxic ammonia.
etc????

well he fixed the leak.

but the rest of those things are highly suspect i agree. and i fear he wont post now because he doesnt want a lot of i told you so
