Good Afternoon!!
I have used all types of lighting on my reef tanks over the passed few years besides "MH".
I got a great deal at least I think I did on a 250w MH setup..the guy didn't tell me much about it and I was hoping someone here could.
Back of the ballast says "Hamilton Metal Halide 250 Watt Assembled Ballast" - Which says it's not for use with DE bulbs on the website.
The fixture I have and use has a DE bulb in it..and I use it everyday... So my question is.. will any DE bulb work...because this ballast is supposed to be used on SE 250w bulbs.
I guess I have to continue using DE 250w bulbs...or replace the fixture or ballast... What is the best DE bulb that this m58 ballast will fire?
