270 Gallon SPS tank for JBNY

your last tank was an inspiration, I can't wait to see what the next one will look like once its started to grow out!!! :D

Hello, I'm still around. Sorry RL got in the way and I've been traveling a lot for work, as well ended up coming down with the flu twice due to my wife being a teacher. :(

So my tank is doing fine, the corals that I recived back in November are doing fine. All fish have been doing fine for the last month as well, I just put some new anthias in the tank last week, I had them in the frag tank for two days till I could make sure they were eating. I will try to take some pictures of the tank tonight. But really there is nothing interesting going on with the tank. It is doing well, I have very little algae problems with it dispite only doing two water changes back a few months ago, and so far the corals are doing good.

Now I just need to get some frags in the tank. :)

BTW the bathroom is almost done. So here are some pics. At least I can give you guys updated pictures of something.

Drawers and mirror need to be installed, that should hapen this week.

Side panels for the tub will go in this week as well, the wood panels will match the vanity color/wood.

hey jbny i bought those rails for my light as well, I dont have a router table and a bit that can cut metal. What else do you think i can use to cut them and they remain flush when joint back together.

I think you should be able to cut them with a chop saw, I'm not sure if you need a metal blade or if a regular combo blade will work though.

Wow

Wow

That's an awesome renovation JB!  Reminds me of one of those DIY channel bathroom renovations, but in real life! :D I love the modern look of it all and the HUGE walk in shower with the hanging showerhead. Nice enlargement of the bathroom vaulting the ceilings too! You did this AND your awesome looking stand and canopy all DIY and kinda by yourself right??? I bow before you oh master of the DIY skills! :p

Sorry, I did not do all of the bathroom myself, I just would never have had the time. The reef stuff I did it all, but the bathroom project would never have been finshed if I did it myself. I designed everything for the bathroom including the vanity, but I brought people in to do the different parts. Yes, I would be the master if I did it all. Although after watching the people do the work in this bathroom, I will do the spare bathroom myself.

Dude you have to have the sweetest pimp pad out there. Can we have a whole picture montage of your house PLEASE!!
